Who Am I?
Ahoy there. I'm Matt Miller. Once I was a regular kid just like you were. But one day I picked up Treasure Island, and since that day devoted a sizable amount of my life to learning about the pirate life. Now I'm 34 (ew gross, I'm old) I want to share that information with the world.
What is Raise The Black?
Simply put, Raise The Black is a blog/podcast. But it goes deeper than that. Everyone loves pirates, but when you only ever think about the bad parts of pirate life (scurvy didn't sound fun). In truth pirate's stood for more than stealing and fighting (that was just the fun part). They stood for fairness and equality. Just like the community I want to build. one where we all get a say, like one big happy crew (we're going to need a bigger boat)
